Keeping our lodging safe, clean and enjoyable is the Oyhut Bay Mantra. Although we arrange for housekeepers and maintenance we ask that you care for our homes as lovingly as the owners are offering it to you. Terms and Conditions are posted on this website and in documents provided to the registered guest.
RENTAL PAYMENTS -
At the time of making your reservation, the price of one-night stay will be taken as reservation hold, and the balance of the reservation will be taken 14 days prior to your arrival with the Credit Card provided at reservation. You may change cards but must notify Oyhut Bay Resort prior to 14 days.
CANCELLATION: You may cancel without penalty if you cancel 14 days prior to your reservation arrival date. Any cancellations made within 14 days of your vacation may be subject to the loss of the full balance. All cancellations must be made by an email sent to [email protected] or by calling our office at 360-209-1886 (Ext 1). Different rate charges may apply for any reservation date changes. Late arrival or early departure does not warrant any refund or credit of rent.
Check-in time is after 5:00 PM, if the home is ready and inspected, an earlier time after 4:00 pm may be possible, but not guaranteed. You will be expected to check in at Oyhut Bay's Vacation Rental Office before accessing your cottage or condo. If you plan to arrive after 6 p.m. please call our office @ 360.209.1886 (Ext 1) to receive further instructions.
Check out is at 11:00 AM. These times allow adequate cleaning time for incoming guests.
An early check-in (before 4 pm) or late check-out (after 11 am) is available at a fee.
OCCUPANCY - Guest Terms & Conditions limit occupancy and exceeding limits will result in extra per person daily charges and may terminate occupancy without refund of deposits, rents or other charges. Maximum occupancy includes infants and children.
NOISE - Rentals are for vacation use by individuals and families and are not rented for parties or large gatherings. As a courtesy to neighbours or other guests, please observe the Quiet Zone times of 10 pm - 8 am. At this time Oyhut Bay Resort does not have space to rent inside or outdoors for gatherings, such as reunions, weddings, business &/or group retreats.
NO SMOKING - All properties are non-smoking at Oyhut Bay Resort, smokers must be 25 feet from ALL doors and windows of any building and dispose of smoking litter appropriately. Violation will result in a $500 fee per occurrence.
BEHAVIOR - Inappropriate behavior such as loud and/or vulgar language and/or drunkenness is strictly prohibited. Guests evicted for violating property rules will forfeit their rental fee and any deposit/reserve.
NO PETS - No animals of any kind are allowed at properties that do NOT specifically say in writing that they are PET FRIENDLY (dogs only). There is a limit to 2 pets (dogs) per Cottage or Condo. You will be charged $45. per pet, per stay. Violators will be assessed a fee of $500 per incident of having a pet without our knowledge.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES - Unless specifically authorized in writing, trailers, campers and, tents are not allowed at Oyhut Bay, or elsewhere at the property. You may request in advance for accommodation for non-camping type vehicles, however, this will be at the discretion of the Property Management. Violators will be charged a fee of $500 per occurrence and the vehicles will be towed at the guest's expense.
TRESPASSING - All properties are private property. Guests are to confine themselves to walking paths, sidewalks, paved roads and roadsides. Please do not look in windows or pick plants or flowers.
UTILITIES - Utilities such as Electricity and Water are high. Please turn off lights, televisions, including faucets, etc. when not in use.
OPERATIONS - Guests are asked to use and operate the electrical, gas, plumbing and other fixtures, appliances and furnishings properly and as instructed.
BARBECUES - All homes have Propane BBQ's, if there is damage to equipment due to the negligence of the guest, there will be a charge to replace the barbecue.
CLEANING - Properties are cleaned after your departure and a mid-stay cleaning can be arranged at an additional charge.
LAUNDRY - All condominium and home rentals include laundry facilities.
DAMAGE - Should damage of any kind, intentional or unintentional take place you are required to notify our Rental Office immediately. This includes destroyed, defaced, impaired or removing any part of the Property, equipment, furniture or furnishings.
DEPARTURE: Keep doors locked when out of the property. When departing, guests are asked to adjust heat as noted in the property. Return furniture to its original position. Fees and costs incurred due to Guest actions are the responsibility of the Guest.
TERMS - After departure Guests are ask to check out at the Rental Office or if Rental Office is not open, have a safe trip to your destination and please let others know about the amazing place you found. Share on Trip Advisor, Yelp, Google, Instagram, Twitter & Facebook
AREA - Due to geographic area concerns, there may be specific rules enforced, such as Burn Bans, Clamming dates, etc.
